What does a K11 sunbed do?
It has three modes. Tan uses UVA and UVB LEDs for a golden colour. Red Light bathes your skin in thousands of UV-free red LEDs for a fresher, smoother look. Energising is an uplifting light mode. You pick the mode on the touchscreen, and a sensor tailors the session to your skin.
Is a K11 sunbed safe?
Like any sunbed, UV tanning carries risks, so the K11 is built to keep things controlled: a SunSense sensor reads your skin and doses each session to your skin type, rather than one-size-fits-all. At Beautano every session is supervised, protective goggles are provided and required, and it’s strictly over-18s, in line with Scottish sunbed regulations. The red-light and energising modes are UV-free.
Is the K11 sunbed red light therapy?
The K11 has a dedicated UV-free red-light mode using thousands of red and near-infrared LEDs, which is the same idea as standalone red light therapy, for skin that looks fresher and smoother. It’s a cosmetic and wellbeing experience, not a medical treatment. You can have it on its own or alongside your tan.
Which tanning bed gets you the darkest?
For depth of colour the K11 is the most powerful bed we have: it runs at full power from the first second with up to 80% higher direct pigmentation than older tube beds. How dark you go still depends on your skin type, and we build it gradually for an even, natural result rather than a rushed one.
How do you use the K11 tanning bed?
Pop in and the team will check your skin type and set a sensible session length. Goggles on, choose your mode and a “dream destination” ambience on the 10″ touchscreen, then lie back, it does the rest. First-timers start short (around 6 minutes) and build up over visits.
What is 10 minutes in a K11 sunbed equivalent to?
There’s no honest one-size answer, and we’d steer you away from “equivalent to X hours of sun” claims. The K11 doses by your skin type, so 10 minutes for fair skin is very different to 10 minutes for darker skin. The team sets the right time for you and builds it gradually.
How much does the K11 sunbed cost?
Tanning runs from £9 for 6 minutes up to £18 for 15 minutes. UV-free red light is £18 for 15 minutes, or £90 for a course of six. No contracts.
